Gelber & Manning is a Brooklyn-based musical vaudeville duo, comprised of Jesse Gelber on piano and Kate Manning on vocals. They specialize in ragtime and early jazz styles, in addition to performing original songs. Gelber & Manning can be found performing as a duo act or with their band at New York's hottest vintage events, including Wit's End, Dances of Vice, The Salon, and The Champagne Riot. Music from their first album, Gelber & Manning Goes Public, is featured in the Alvin Ailey ballet, Uptown. Along with director James Lester, they are the creators and producers of the web series Gintown, which has been featured at The New York Television Festival, The Hollywood Film Festival, and The Coney Island Film Festival. Additionally a composer/lyricist team, Gelber & Manning composed the scores for Gintown and for the musical Vaudeville at the Gin Mill. Their latest project is a new musical about Storyville, New Orleans, entitled Where All The Rivers Go To Sleep.
